Handmade Flowers on a Mother's Day Card!

For this Mother's Day card, I made flowers by using Lady E Design Flower and Leaf Dies out of foamiran. I coloured using distress oxides. After manipulating them into shape by using heat, I inserted the stamens. The backing paper is from Hunkydory. I also attached a few elements from Little Birdie's 'Purple Passion' The 'sent with love' sentiment is from Sentimentally Yours from Phill Martin. The 'Mum' sentiment is from my stash.

I created this card following a colour palette, using Distress Oxides in Picked Raspberry, Fertilised Amber, Mustard Seed, Cracked Pistachio, Broken China and Mowed Lawn. I cut the front off my card and made strips from it, to form an old shabby gate. I used Dahlia Flowers Dies for the main focus. One of the cutest collections from Polkadoodles is the Frosty Winter Smiles Snowmen Bundle. Such a gorgeous collection of snowmen characters. For my tags, I used Hello Frosty Snowman , Happy Snowmen Couple and New Friends Snowman - which i flipped to be facing the other way. Happy Halloween Bestie I do love Sherri's Halloween images from My Besties! This cutie is Happy Fall/Halloween img024 and I coloured her using ProMarkers. I attached her to a centre step card and decorated the side panels with Spooky Pumpkin Dies and Spooky Hat/Web Dies from Polkadoodles. I stencilled the trees using Trees/Foliage Stencil (also Polkadoodles) with Ground Espresso Distress Oxide. I then cut out each individual stencilled tree and attached around the sides and back. Jolly Holly Wishes

Jolly Holly Wishes For this card, I looked out my Prismacolor Premier Pencils as I NEVER use them! This allowed me to stamp on to Kraft Card for this project. I used Gnome Jolly Holly Wishes Stamp Set from Polkadoodles. Once coloured, I die cut using a square die and inked the edges in brown distress oxide ink. I die cut a flourish square border in white and attached. This was then attached to a further 3 square die cuts. The trees and sentiment are from the same stamp set. The snowflakes are from Snow Globe Die Set. I finished off by making a brown and white gingham bow, 2 twine bows and attaching little wooden flat back gems to the snowflakes. I die cut the top half from my Kraft card front, so I could attach the houses behind the curves. I then embossed the front with a dotty embossing folder.
