For my 'Back to School' project, I made this vintage school bag using papers from the Winston Deluxe Download Collection . The flowers and zip are from the same collection. The pencils are from Winnie Fruit Punch Embellies which I recoloured. I used a box die to make my school bag shape. I inked up the edges in brown distress oxide. I made a pocket from a rectangle die and attached the zip to the top, for the pencils - adding some stitching with a white gel pen. I added a little tag so Winnie can claim her school bag! Gnome Winter Village Today's theme for the Design Team was Winter Gnomes - Non Traditional Colours There's also an amazing DISCOUNT CODE for the Polkadoodles store TODAY! Check out the blog for all the details. For my winter gnomes theme, I used Special Wishes Letter from the Gnome Festive Fun Collection. Coloured using ProMarkers. I die cut the top half from my Kraft card front, so I could attach the houses behind the curves. I then embossed the front with a dotty embossing folder. The houses are from Christmas Scene and Holly Blessings Stamp Sets. Trees are from Night Sky Stamp Set . I stamped on to Kraft card and coloured using a white Prismacolor pencil. I finished off by attaching some brown and white gingham ribbon and made a bow to match. A Vintage Octavia

A Vintage Octavia Octavia is one of my favourite Polkadoodles collections - I never tire of colouring her. This card features Octavia Thinking coloured using Copics. I stencilled the background using Creepy Foliage Halloween Stencil . I used pinks and browns for a more vintage feel. I love this stencil! I attached her to a wooden frame which I slightly inked up in brown. A large burlap rose was attached along with other white and cream flowers, string and wooden embellishments.
