The Garden Gate - Polkadoodles Digi Choosday

The Garden Gate Today's theme for the Design Team is Follow a Colour Palette There's also an amazing DISCOUNT CODE for the Polkadoodles store TODAY! Check out the blog for all the details. I created this card following a colour palette, using Distress Oxides in Picked Raspberry, Fertilised Amber, Mustard Seed, Cracked Pistachio, Broken China and Mowed Lawn. I cut the front off my card and made strips from it, to form an old shabby gate. I used Dahlia Flowers Dies for the main focus. The little pots, sign post and butterfly are from All the Dirt Stamp Set . I stencilled inside the card using Great Outdoors Stencil to create the clouds and grass. I attached and coloured Pretty Flowerpots and Planters Dies . ENTER IF YOU DARE! - For my Halloween project, I used the NEW Snow Globe Die and Woodland Door Die from the Gnome-Azing Christmas Collection along with a sneak peek at some more new goodies coming soon! Coloured using ProMarkers I made a wall effect behind the door using Distress Oxides. I added strips of card from the Snow Globe Die to create the steps leading into the door - inking up in brown. The pumpkins are from Hocus Pocus Witches . I created the background using Leafy Stencil . The small leaf sprigs are from Super Sprigs Craft Die . Pretty Flower Wreath

Pretty Flower Wreath For this card I decided to use Kraft card and my Prismacolor pencils. I coloured Pretty Flower Wreath from Polkadoodles and enlarged the image to fit the bottom and left hand side of the card only. After colouring the flowers, I fussy cut and attached to the card for a 3D effect. Sentiment is from the Darling Buds collection. Stick With Me The NEW release from Polkadoodles is just the cutest! Honeypie - Just Lovely Collection consists of 8 NEW digi stamps which comes complete with gorgeous backing papers and sentiments . For this card I used Honeypie - Stick With Me and coloured using ProMarkers. I added a few extra cactus and attached a birdhouse, flowers and sentiments from Stay Chirpy Stamp Set. Winnie Santa Suit Winnie is always a favourite at Polkadoodles! This card features the adorable Winnie Santa Suit from the NEW Christmas release - North Pole There are 8 new digi stamps - pre-coloured or B&W, featuring the cutest Christmas images! Frosty Winter Smiles Happy Snowmen Couple I was kindly asked if I would like to be Guest Designer for Try it on Tuesday . The theme is 'Winter Wonderland' and these little cuties were perfect! I used Happy Snowmen Couple from Frosty Winter Smiles collection at Polkadoodles I coloured using ProMarkers. I stenciled the background using Great Outdoors Stencil with Distress Oxide Ink The postbox, fence and trees are from Festive Christmas Download Bundle - also Polkadoodles. For the snow, I ripped strips of paper, inked the edges and added Glamour Dust. All That Glitters is Snow

All That Glitters is Snow With Christmas just around the corner, I'm enjoying making some festive cards! I used Candy Cane Elf from Polkadoodles. I removed the cane so I could add to a toadstool from the Magic Garden Soup Collection and then coloured using Arrtx Alcohol Markers. The background papers, background scene, fence, bow and sentiment are from the beautiful Octavia Frosted Winter Collection. I attached a couple of frosted berries and glamour dust for a little added sparkle.
