 Gnome Winter Village Today's theme for the Design Team was  Winter Gnomes - Non Traditional Colours There's also an amazing   DISCOUNT CODE   for the  Polkadoodles store TODAY!  Check out the   blog   for all the details. For my winter gnomes theme,  I used  Special Wishes Letter  from the  Gnome Festive Fun Collection.    Coloured using ProMarkers.  I die cut the top half from my Kraft card front, so I could attach the houses behind the curves. I then embossed the front with a dotty embossing folder.  The houses are from Christmas Scene and  Holly Blessings  Stamp Sets. Trees are from  Night Sky Stamp Set . I stamped on to Kraft card and coloured using a white Prismacolor pencil. I finished off by attaching some brown and white gingham ribbon and made a bow to match.  Happy Birthday Nikky It was Nikky from Polkadoodles birthday on 22nd January, so I made this card along with a matching box for her. I coloured the cute Honeypie Sweet Flower Bouquet using ProMarkers. The flowers were made using Lemonade Fizz Stamp Set and coloured using Distress Oxide Inks. I used a cut and emboss die for the bottom of the card front and lightly brushed over the embossing with Distress Oxides. I dressed up the flowers with a white gel pen and attached a few mulberry paper flowers. Finishing off with ribbon, handmade bow to match and some flat back contrasting pearls. For this card, a centre step card was my template. I used  Winnie - Wrapped Up Warm  and coloured using Prismacolor pencils. I attached a small craft magnet behind her, which allowed me to move along the slider I made behind the card. She's having a winter stroll through the trees, which were from an older collection - Octavia Frosted Winter Bundle. The little robins are from  Festive Christmas Download Collection .
