Under the Wishing Tree - In Fairy Land

For this fairy themed card, I wanted a warm bright and bold feel. I used a 6x6 black card and attached a bright background p119 from Winnie in Wonderland Bundle. The backing papers can also be purchased separately - Paper Heaven 5 I assembled the card in Cricut Design Space using Zen Houses and Wishing Tree digistamps from Lavinia Stamps. The fairies are from a silhouette bundle from Etsy. The leaves are from a digi rose bush I have, sliced in Design Space and coloured black.  I watercolour washed the houses in warm colours of red, orange and yellow, then filled in with markers.  Bold and Magical!

The Giant Boot - In Fairy Land

I love everything mythical and fantasy, so this card is based on that!  I used a 6x6 white card and attached a background paper p127 from the Winnie in Wonderland Bundle from Polkadoodles. I used a zen house digistamp from Lavinia Stamps along with a boot and flowers from the Magic Garden Soup Bundle and a sentiment from Serenity Fairy Wishes , also from Polkadoodles. I assembled the card in Cricut Design Space. Duplicating the flowers and printed. I coloured the digistamps using watercolour pencils, keeping to warm colours. I cut out the duplicate flowers and attached.  Magical!  I have entered this card in to the following challenges  Crafty Gals Corner Challenge  #209 Fantasy World  Cute Card Thursday #646 Anything Goes  The Creative Crafters #30 Anything Goes  Dragonfly Dreams August Anything Goes

Vintage Rose

I love Vintage Rose Designs so incorporated this into a Best Wishes card I used a kraft 6x6 card and added a vintage rose background with a deep pink gingham on top. I used the same rose background, ripped and attached to the top and bottom corners after inking the edges in deep pink. I used elements from the Lemoncraft Paper - Vintage Time 004  The clock is from part of a vintage bundle I purchased from Etsy.

Vintage Floral

For this Vintage Floral card, I used various elements from Mintay Papers and Lemoncraft Papers. I started with a krft 6x6 card and added a rose floral background which I put a lace overlay on top via Cricut Design Space.  I edged the background paper using a tracing wheel to give a stitched edged look and then ripped a few parts and inked up in brown to give that vintage look. I attached to the left hand side of the card. I diecut a white ornate rectangular frame and glued down on top of the backing paper. I also die cut a white border and attached. I assembled and attached the elements that I cut from the Mintay and Lemoncraft papers. I finished off the card by adding flatback wooden gems and a diamante border. Vintage and Chic!

Shabby Lavender

This white 5x7 card was made using elements from Mintay Papers - Dreamer 06 and 09.  The background paper I have had for a while and was purchased from a seller on Etsy. I wanted to use cool colours but keeping a pastel feel. I added chipboard lavender clusters and coloured the bows purple. I attached all elements when I was happy with the arrangement and finished off with a couple of flatback white pearl gems and a Best Wishes sentiment. I adore the shabby birdhouses you get on Mintay Papers! Elegant and Chic!  I have entered this card into the Anything Goes Challenge - Polkadoodles

Winnie in Wonderland (Alice in Wonderland Theme) - Polkadoodles

I started this card off by inking up the edges of a 6 x 6 kraft card by inking up a distressed dotty stamp and circular spiral with black StazOn ink.  I used various elements from design sheets from  Winnie in Wonderland BIG KAHUNA Bundle  including pre-coloured  Winnie Time Will Tell  which can also be purchased separately in black and white. from Polkadoodles. I attached a background from the Paper Heaven 5 included in the bundle or can also be purchased separately. Prior to attaching, I scored all edges of the background with a tracing wheel, ripped a few parts and inked up the edges in brown for a more vintage look. I finished off by adding a cute lace ribbon bow and some flat back black gems.

Winnie in Wonderland

For this card I used backgrounds and embellishments from the Winnie in Wonderland Bundle from Polkadoodles.  I printed off a black and gold background (p106) and added to a black 5 x 7 card.  I used various elements from the Design Sheets in the bundle. As the card is black, I made a contrasting insert in white. I love the finished results! Having the black background really makes the colours pop. Queen of Hearts Card - Winnie in Wonderland

I wanted a bold, colourful and busy card, so decided to use papers and elements from  Winnie In Wonderland  Bundle from Polkadoodles I started off by printing backing paper from Bundles 1 and 3. I attached them to a 6 x 6 square red card. On paper 1, I used a tracing wheel around the edges to give a stitched look. I ripped the edging in places and inked up in brown to give it that vintage feel. I placed paper 3 on top, at a slight angle, then printed off various elements from the Design Sheets within the bundle. I assembled them until I was satisfied, to achieve the finished look. Exactly how I'd hope it would turn out  - bold, colourful and busy! I have entered this card into:  Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Challenge Polkadoodles Anything Goes Week 29 Challenge

Gothic Inspired 'With Love' Card

In my comfort zone - making dark, Gothic inspired crafts. I decided to add Oddella from Polkadoodles to create a darker card. I previously kept her black and white by adding a few sketchy parts to her, using a black Copic Multi-liner.  I assembled the card in Cricut Design Space using various darker background papers. I edged the card with lace overlays, added some metallic brads and a bow. I created the 'With Love' sentiment using an oval shape and slicing it over grey backing paper with roses. As the card is black, I made a paper insert using the same design as the front Super pleased with the results!   I have entered this card into the Polkadoodles  Digi Choosday Challenge

Oddella Gift Tags - Polkadoodles

After 'gothing' up Oddella from Polkadoodles , I decided to make gifts tags with her. Each one a different coloured tag. I then thought I would add some contrasting colour to each of the Oddella digistamps, relating to what colour of tag she was on.  The tags were assembled in Cricut Design Space. Once assembled and cut, I attached Oddella, some black lace ribbon for the bottom edging and top of the tag, then finished off with a cute little black satin bow.  I'm loving how they have turned out!

Gothic Odella from Polkadoodles - Digistamps

My favourite digistamp from Polkadoodles  - Oddella. I love how I can goth her up, either keeping her in black and white, or adding some colour. Either way, she always looks amazing! I used a black Copic Multiliner 0.3 Now to decide what I'm going to make with her!

A Touch of Black

A Touch of Black             My inner love of everything Gothic is expressed in some of my card making. Black cats, black flowers and ... well ... anything black! ♥

Oddella in Purple - Polkadoodles

Odella from Polkadoodles                                   I decided to stick to one shade for colouring Oddella - purples. She looks awesome vamped up in purple.  Used a variety of both Copics and Ohuhu markers. Fence and Birdhouse from the Winnie 'Fruit Punch' and 'Sugar Sprinkles' Bundles. Card was put together in Cricut Design Space.  Oddella was hand coloured, then cut out and attached to the card.
