Agnes Elephant Ice Skating - Polkadoodles NEW Release

A New Baby Girl at Christmas

For this card I decided to use Agnes Elephant Ice-Skating from the NEW

'Too Cute Winter Wonders' Collection

Oh how cute they all are!

I coloured her using Arrtx Alcohol Markers, keeping to pink and white only.

Then the idea came to me - a Christmas baby card!

I used 6x6 Park Life Stencil using light pink ink and embossed with a shimmery white embossing powder. I die cut a simple square and did the same with embossing. I then attached a white filigree die-cut frame. The leaves are ivy die-cuts and the edges inked in pink.

I finished the card off with attaching 2 pink paper mulberry roses, a sweet little white satin bow-tie and a suitable sentiment to welcome a new baby at Christmas.

I just love how this card has turned out!

It's difficult to see in the photos, but it's all shimmery and glistens in the light

Handmade Flowers on a Mother's Day Card

Handmade Flowers on a Mother's Day Card! For this Mother's Day card, I made flowers by using Lady E Design Flower and Leaf Dies out of foamiran. I coloured using distress oxides. After manipulating them into shape by using heat, I inserted the stamens. The backing paper is from Hunkydory. I also attached a few elements from Little Birdie's 'Purple Passion' The 'sent with love' sentiment is from Sentimentally Yours from Phill Martin. The 'Mum' sentiment is from my stash. Brrrr, turning colder now as Autumn is kicking in! The DT theme this week is HALLOWEEN There's also an amazing DISCOUNT CODE for the Polkadoodles store TODAY! Check out their blog for all the details. As Halloween is fast approaching, I made a cute little treat box and bag. Ideal for storing those trick or treat goodies! I decorated inside and out of the box with Halloween papers from the Trick or Treat Papers 1 I coloured cute Winnie Wednesday Bat G irl and attached to the lid. The bow is from the Tropical Sorbet Bundle For the treat bag, I printed A4 paper from the same paper bundle as the box and assembled into the treat bag shape. The Garden Gate - Polkadoodles Digi Choosday

The Garden Gate Today's theme for the Design Team is Follow a Colour Palette There's also an amazing DISCOUNT CODE for the Polkadoodles store TODAY! Check out the blog for all the details. I created this card following a colour palette, using Distress Oxides in Picked Raspberry, Fertilised Amber, Mustard Seed, Cracked Pistachio, Broken China and Mowed Lawn. I cut the front off my card and made strips from it, to form an old shabby gate. I used Dahlia Flowers Dies for the main focus. The little pots, sign post and butterfly are from All the Dirt Stamp Set . I stencilled inside the card using Great Outdoors Stencil to create the clouds and grass. Gnome Winter Village Today's theme for the Design Team was Winter Gnomes - Non Traditional Colours There's also an amazing DISCOUNT CODE for the Polkadoodles store TODAY! Check out the blog for all the details. For my winter gnomes theme, I used Special Wishes Letter from the Gnome Festive Fun Collection. Coloured using ProMarkers. I die cut the top half from my Kraft card front, so I could attach the houses behind the curves. I then embossed the front with a dotty embossing folder. The houses are from Christmas Scene and Holly Blessings Stamp Sets. Trees are from Night Sky Stamp Set . I stamped on to Kraft card and coloured using a white Prismacolor pencil. I finished off by attaching some brown and white gingham ribbon and made a bow to match. For this card I used Gnometastic Bluebells and coloured using Promarkers. Sticking with the same colour tones of lilacs and blues. I attached lilac organza ribbon and made a bow to match. Happy Holidays How cute are these little gingerbread characters? For this stepper card, I used a centre step card die template, a square die and 3 rectangular dies for my base card.
