As soon as I saw the theme for the Design Team this week was advent - I knew exactly what I was going to do! I had an old boxed advent calendar of drawers which I've been meaning to 'upcycle' for a while. This was the perfect opportunity.
I love upcycling - turning something I like, into something I'll love!

I covered the box using backing paper from
Each individual drawer was covered in red card, numbered and decorated using various images from the cutest Christmas pre-coloured  bundles such as
I attached a large tartan bow to the top. Each drawer will contain a chocolate treat and on the 24th - there's room for a few!
Door #1 opens today!

    1. Thanks Jane :) I think it's a mini crunchie. A box of Heroes was used as they're my wee Mammy's fave. I gave her the advent calendar today as a reminder of the date each day (she's 88) xx
