Leaving Mince Pies - Digi Choosday at Polkadoodles

Today's card features an acetate window scene while using the adorable
 Winnie - Leaving Mince Pies
 All backing papers, sentiment and embellies are from the amazing 
Winnie Winterland Big Kahuna Bundle

I made a window from acetate and added curtains made from 
Winnie Winterland Paper Heaven 1. 
I sprinkled some Glamour Dust to the corners of the window to resemble snow. 
Can you spot Rudolph peeking in the window? 

The beautiful pre-coloured fireplace is perfect for this project, as Winnie is leaving mince pies for Santa in her lounge on Christmas Eve. You can also find the fireplace in the 
Winnie Winterland Digital Embellies Bundle

I coloured Winnie using Promarkers and added a cute little paper poinsettia flower to her hair.

The card used is 5 x 7 Kraft Card with the edges inked in brown.

I finished off by adding a sentiment from the same Winnie Winterland bundle, on to die cut rectangles, inking up the edges, also in brown. Attached some red/white twine and a flat back wooden gem.

When taking a photo, I activated the flash to reflect on the window, 
so it would resemble the moon shining :)

Marigold Flower Girl For this card I used the beautiful pre-coloured  Marigold Flower Girl from Polkadoodles Darling Buds Collection. I decided to perch her on top of Fantasy Moon. For my 'Spring Flowers' theme, the perfect image is  Winnie Daisy Dance Flower Fairy  from the NEW Winnie Daisy Collection , coloured using Pasteltint pencils.  I wanted a vintage theme and used music note paper from  Rose Budd Collection  and inked the edges with Distress Oxides. Blooming in Purple - Polkadoodles NEW Release

  Blooming in Purple Spring is in the air and what better time to release a blooming NEW collection.  Blooms and Butterflies have the most gorgeous floral images along with adorable butterflies available in store at Polkadoodles. Bunny with Roses

 Bunny with Roses Polkadoodles NEW Springtime Smiles Collection is full of the cutest chicks, bunnies and sheep. Pre-coloured or B&W and contains papers and sentiments for all occasions. For my centre step card, I used Bunny with Roses and coloured using Prismacolor pencils. I used backing papers from the same collection. The butterfly, flowers and leaves are from Garden Flower Leaves Butterfly , also from the same collection and also coloured using Prismacolor pencils. Sentiment is from Easter Greetings . LEO - Zodiac

  LEO - Zodiac Polkadoodles have released their NEW Zodiac Collection and it's jam packed full of amazing digital downloads with a Horoscope theme. For this stepper card, I used Leo and coloured using Copics. The background paper is from the Happy Cactus Collection as I thought it fit perfectly into my jungle theme. I die cut lots of various leaves as well as cutting leaves from the backing paper, and assembled behind the lion. The LEO text and sentiment are from the same Zodiac Collection. I finished off by attaching a few miniature flowers and a wooden ladybird. Handmade Flowers on a Mother's Day Card

 Handmade Flowers on a Mother's Day Card! For this Mother's Day card, I made flowers by using Lady E Design Flower and Leaf Dies out of foamiran. I coloured using distress oxides. After manipulating them into shape by using heat, I inserted the stamens. The backing paper is from Hunkydory. I also attached a few elements from Little Birdie's 'Purple Passion' The 'sent with love' sentiment is from Sentimentally Yours from Phill Martin.
